Buttermilk and TieHack - LEGENDARY FOR GOOD REASON
Buttermilk is a mountain of many personalities. Of the 4 Aspen Mountains Buttermilk offers beginner skiers areas. Buttermilk is great for no crowds, great family atmosphere. A beginner and medium difficulty mountain perfect for intermediate level skiers. Terrain Park is very well developed. On the far side of the mountain is Tiehack, a favourite of famous locals who want to ski with no lines and no crowds. Tiehack has a great fall line for a fast challenging run. Buttermilk also is famous for being home to the X Games every year. During the X Games, Buttermilk is ground zero. Buttermilk also has a great learning centre for young skiers and is a local’s family favourite. Loved and hiked by uphills & pets who make the trek up Tiehack to Cliffhouse daily.
